Meet the Palm Beach County Family Law Attorneys

At Pyfrom & Reisler, P.A., the lawyers understand the emotional turmoil and practical challenges of navigating divorce, child custody agreements, and other family law issues.

Attorneys Cynthia Pyfrom, Esq. and Jennifer Reisler, Esq. share office space in Boynton Beach and do business as Py-from & Reisler, P.A. While they do not handle cases together, they regularly communicate and collaborate on cases, offering each other insight and advice to ensure their clients receive unparalleled guidance and support throughout their legal journey.

Cynthia and Jennifer began their collaboration on November 1, 2022, with a shared vision and values in how they approach their practice. Both attorneys focus on ethical conduct, detailed preparation, client accessibility, and prioritizing the well-being of families over financial gain.

With over 20 combined years of experience, they bring a wealth of skills and knowledge to each of their family law practices. They don’t take cases just for the money, but to do their best and to do the right thing for each family, ensuring that every case is handled ethically and with care. They develop customized strategies that address their clients’ specific legal concerns and personalities, working diligently to find effective and efficient solutions that mitigate risks and protect clients’ rights and futures. Their areas of practice include divorce (including equitable distribution and alimony), child support, timesharing, modification, enforcement, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence, contested child-related issues, and stepparent adoptions. Both attorneys handle fathers’ rights, ensuring fair treatment in custody and visitation conflicts, as well as paternity issues. Cynthia also handles same-sex family law matters, such as divorce and adoption. Jennifer serves as a Guardian Ad Litem and Attorney’s Fee Expert.

Cynthia Pyfrom is originally from Frankfort, Kentucky and moved to Palm Beach County when she graduated from high school. She attended Palm Beach State College and played volleyball on a full scholarship for two years. Once her scholarship was over, she had to find employment and ultimately began her career in the legal field by happenstance when she was hired as a receptionist at a law firm back in 1997. Cynthia learned many different tasks and always sought to continue learning. Ultimately, Cynthia worked her way up from receptionist to assistant, then to legal assistant, and eventually she became a paralegal. Cynthia has worked in various fields of law over the years; however, in 2005 she took her first family law paralegal job at a firm handling exclusively family law litigation cases. Cynthia truly enjoyed learning family law and found that the opportunity to assist people through one of the most difficult and emotionally vulnerable times of their lives was the most rewarding experience of her legal career. Ultimately, Cynthia attended Nova Southeastern University in Davie beginning in August of 2009 as a student in the Evening Divi-sion while still maintaining full-time employment as a paralegal at a family law firm. Over the next three and a half years, Cynthia at-tended law school at night and over the summer breaks, ultimately graduating in December of 2012. Cynthia was voted by her peers to be the Student Speaker at her graduation, which was a true honor. Cynthia sat for the Florida Bar exam in February of 2013, passed, and was sworn in as a licensed Florida attorney in April of that same year. In January of 2014, Cynthia opened her own law firm and has pursued her passion for helping people ever since.

Jennifer Reisler grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, which is where most of her family continues to reside today. Outside of her legal career, Jennifer’s passion is horses, which is what made her attend the University of Louisville for her undergraduate studies. At the University of Louisville, Jennifer competed on the Hunt Seat Equestrian Team and in local shows through graduation. After graduation, Jennifer spent approximately two years working in the equine industry as a professional showjumping groom and rider until she ultimately decided to go to law school. During her time as a professional showjumping groom, Jennifer had the opportunity to work for an Olympic rider in Wellington, Florida, which is when she first fell in love with South Florida. It had always been her dream to live in Wellington and one day compete at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, which is what prompted her to attend law school at the University of Miami. During her first year of law school, Jennifer was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer, a life-changing event that forced her to undergo six months of chemotherapy treatment; however, Jennifer continued to attend law school full-time during her treatment, refusing to let cancer slow her down. She finished her last chemotreatment in July 2010 and has been cancer-free since then. After graduating cum laude from the University of Miami Law School in 2012, Jennifer passed the Florida Bar and began practicing that same year. From the outset of her legal career, Jennifer was a natural-born litigator, and her practice remains focused on litigation today, particularly complex child-related issues. Jennifer has been practicing exclusively in marital and family law since 2015. In 2019, Jennifer became the then-youngest attorney to become board-certified in marital and family law, an accomplishment she remains proud of today. Jennifer prides herself on offering her clients personalized and accessible representation.
