ARQCON LLC: Changing the Face of Contracting One Project at A Time

To Mike Lorenzo all the world is a construction site. As a young man, he spent summers and holidays working with his father in the construction business in New Jersey.

Add that to his passion for architecture, design, and environmental harmony and it’s no surprise that Mike became a General Contractor. “I am fascinated by the interaction between people and architectural environments. I always knew I wanted to be builder,” said Mike, the owner of ARQCON LLC.

To achieve this lofty goal Mike got a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from New York University, Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Mike also travelled the world taking note of beautiful buildings and interiors he admired. He also worked in the Yacht industry and received his United State Coat Guard 100-Ton Near Coastal Captain’s license.

As a captain he explored much of the Western Hemisphere and as far as the Islands of French Polynesia. This diversity in experiences continues to benefit Mike’s clients by providing an in-depth understanding and respect for client’s vision.

“I have always been passionate about the field of architecture and have a strong love for the ocean. Because of my early experiences, I developed a keen eye for detail, aesthetics and functionality,” adds Mike, who is trustworthy, hard-working and delivers projects that wow clients.

His word is his bond, and he continually adheres to the highest standards.

“From the start, Mike demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and dedication. As our builder, he was very responsive, provided guidance, and swiftly resolved all field issues. His proactive approach and attention to detail saved us time and money,” said Barry and Elyssa of Boca Raton.

Mike is unwavering in his commitment to personal attention, business-driven solutions, and integrity. It’s just how he rolls. “In South Florida words easily flow, but they’re not always acted upon with the exact-ness of their intention.”

This is not the case with Mike. This humble Certified Building Con-tractor not only does what he says but commits to doing projects with the same professionalism he demands from others.

That’s the reason clients are so impressed with their finished projects. His team of experienced skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, architects, and engineers are all highly skilled. “Our Projects are tailored to clients’ exact project needs, maximizing savings.”

Mike’s career has taken him on a varied and diverse path of challeng-ing locations. While he was employed by large General Contractors as a Project Manager, he worked on such esteemed projects as City Place South Tower, Hilton Hotel and Convention Center, Emerald Grand Hotel at Harbor Walk, Hilton Garden Inn, and the B Ocean Resort (the Iconic Yankee Clipper Hotel).

Last year, Mike completed a 5.5-acre development that included new infrastructure, a 9000 square-foot lodge with an event lawn, a 90,000-gallon adult swimming pool with entry pool building, basketball courts and a large parking lot with multiple support structures throughout.

“I highly recommend Mike for any project. The combination of his expertise and collaborative spirit makes him a standout choice for anyone seeking a contractor who will deliver outstanding results. Our 5.5-acre development was warmly received by neighbors and the community,” said Niki Norton, N2 Architecture and Design – NNS Development.
If you ask Mike what ARQCON specializes in, he will tell you: Turn-key Construction Management, Project Management, and Owner Representative Services.

The projects are mighty and the accolades for Mike’s building expertise come from architects and others he has worked for.

Part of this success hinges on their work ethic; as well as Mike’s determination, hard work and communication with subcontractors and workers. Being nice, and accomplishing projects that are challenging or complicated, can often be at odds. But not with ARQCON.

That’s why clients are not reserved in their assessment of his fearless leadership.

“Our experience working with Arqcon was nothing short of excellent. Mike is reserved, intelligent, and above all, committed to making sure the work is done properly and on time. Mike listens and then acts. He has both a wealth of knowledge and professional subcontractors who are highly qualified and reliable. Mike is a rare find,” said Malcolm Gulden of Boca Raton.

That could be the reason the last three projects Arqcon received were started by other General Contractors but not completed. “These projects were neglected by previous contractors, but we finished them with High Honors,” adds Mike.

“We highly recommend Mike and his team of expert craftsmen. Mike had the most difficult situation. We were using another contractor and we terminated the relationship. Because Mike is a superb professional, he re-paired mistakes made by the first contractor! He is polite and capable and I highly recommend him,” said Gari Hill Dansky, Design Associates of ASID, Allied Board of Trade.

Whether your project is a residential remodel or a seawall restoration and replacement, Mike can handle the job with perfection.

“Are you looking to build your Dream Home or Office, Commercial Space or a Restaurant? Look no more. No matter what type of project you have, give us a call. It may be the best call you make all month. We believe Reputation is everything!”
