In 2024 alone, Arts Garage hosted over 300 performances, classes, and community events, attracting more than 28,900 attendees and 775 professional artists. PAQUITO D’RIVERA
Paquito D’Rivera and his sextet ignited the Arts Garage this past summer with a kinetic performance that made the whole venue come alive. Hailing from Cuba, D’Rivera is a musical virtuoso, boasting an impressive collection of 16 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards. Renowned for his mastery of both Latin jazz and classical composition, D’Rivera’s performance delivered an exhilarating fusion of jazz, bebop, and Latin influences. D’Rivera is celebrated both for his artistry in Latin jazz and his achievements as a classical composer. The National Endowment for the Arts website affirms “he has become the consummate multinational ambassador, creating and promoting a cross-culture of music that moves effortlessly among jazz, Latin, and Mozart.”
JOHN PIZZARELLI

Arts Garage provided the perfect stage for acclaimed guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli this past January 2025, with an intimate performance showcasing his recent album release and celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut album. Pizzarelli is renowned for his smooth vocals and masterful guitar work and has been hailed by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” Grammy Award winner in the Best Tra-ditional Pop Vocal Album category as co-producer of James Taylor’s American Standard in 2021, he has performed on America’s most popular national television shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with David Letterman, Conan and has performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
FRED HERSCH

Legendary pianist Fred Hersch will make his Arts Garage debut this month, March 21, 2025 at 8 p.m. He is celebrating his 70th birthday this year, an especially meaningful accomplishment as Hersch suffered an AIDS-related coma for several months in 2008 only to make a remarkable comeback, continuing to record and tour the world. Hersch is a significant figure in contemporary jazz with over fifty albums to his credit and is a 17-time Grammy Award nominee who continues to earn jazz’s most prestigious awards. Proclaimed “a living legend” by The New Yorker, Hersch has long defined jazz’s creative edge in a wide variety of settings, from his breathtaking solo recitals and exploratory duos to his extraordinary trios and innovative chamber settings.
JIMMY VIVINO

Best known as the bandleader for Conan O’Brien’s talk show, Jimmy Vivino is a versatile guitarist and vocalist with deep roots in blues and rock. For over five decades, “Jimmy V” has produced, led bands and recorded with a countless number of rock ‘n’ roll and blues artists including Warren Haynes, Bob Weir, Keith Richards, and Elvis Costello. This season will mark his 4th performance at Arts Garage, with a show scheduled for March 22, 2025 at 8 p.m. along with some of the top Florida blues musicians.
