Both attorneys handle fathers’ rights, ensuring fair treatment in custody and visitation conflicts, as well as paternity issues. Cynthia brings specialized experience in same-sex family law, guiding clients through divorce, step-parent adoption, and issues related to in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
Jennifer serves as a Guardian Ad Litem and Attorney’s Fee Expert. As a Guardian Ad Litem, Jennifer advocates for the best interests of the children in divorce or time-sharing cases. Jennifer has also prevailed in an appellate case on Attorney’s Fees out of the Fourth District Court of Florida.
Cynthia Pyfrom is originally from Frankfort, Kentucky and moved to Palm Beach County when she graduated from high school. She attended college at Palm Beach State College and played volleyball on a full scholarship for two years. Once her scholarship was over, she had to find employment and ultimately began her career in the legal field by happenstance when she was hired as a receptionist at a law firm back in 1997. Cynthia learned many different tasks and always sought to continue learning. Ultimately, Cynthia worked her way up from receptionist to assistant, then to legal assistant, and eventually she became a paralegal. Cynthia worked in various fields of law over the years; however, in 2005 she took her first family law paralegal job at a firm handling exclusively family law litigation cases. Cynthia truly enjoyed learning family law and found that the opportunity to assist people through one of the most difficult and emotionally vulnerable times of their lives was the most rewarding experience of her legal career. Ultimately, Cynthia attended Nova Southeastern University in Davie beginning in August of 2009 as a student in the Evening Division while still maintaining full-time employment as a paralegal at a family law firm. Over the next three and a half years, Cynthia would attend law school at night and over the summer breaks to ultimately graduate in December of 2012. Cynthia was voted by her peers to be the Student Speaker at her graduation, which was a true honor. Cynthia sat for the Florida Bar exam in February of 2013, passed, and was sworn in as a licensed Florida attorney in April that same year. In January of 2014, Cynthia opened her own law firm of Cynthia M. Pyfrom, P.A. and has pursued her passion of helping people ever since.
Jennifer Reisler grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, which is where most of her family continues to reside today. Outside of her legal career, Jennifer’s passion is horses, which is what made her attend the University of Louisville for her undergraduate studies. At the University of Louisville, Jennifer competed on the Hunt Seat Equestrian Team and in local shows through graduation. After graduation, Jennifer spent approximately two years working in the equine industry as a professional showjumping groom and rider until she ultimately decided to go to law school. During her time as a professional showjumping groom, Jennifer had the opportunity to work for an Olympic rider in Wellington, Florida, which is when she first fell in love with South Florida. It was always her dream to live in Wellington and one day compete at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, which is what prompted her to attend law school at the University of Miami. During her first year of law school, Jennifer was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer, a life-changing event which forced her to undergo six months of chemotherapy treatment; however, Jennifer continued to attend law school full-time during her treatment, refusing to let cancer slow her down. She finished her last chemo treatment in July 2010 and has been cancer-free since then. After graduating cum laude from the University of Miami Law School in 2012, Jennifer passed the Florida Bar and began practicing that same year. From the outset of her legal career, Jennifer was a natural born litigator, and her practice remains focused on litigation today, particularly complex child-related issues. Jennifer has been practicing exclusively in marital and family law since 2015. In 2019, Jennifer became the then-youngest attorney to become board-certified in matrimonial and family law, an accomplishment she remains proud of today. Jennifer opened her own law firm in August of 2022, before partnering up with Cynthia in November of that same year. Jennifer prides herself on offering her clients accessible representation.
Whether you’re facing a divorce, navigating child custody disputes, or seeking legal advice on family matters, Cynthia Pyfrom and Jenni-fer Reisler are here to provide expert guidance.
