Swing to Achieve Golf Tournament Raises Nearly $40,000 for Palm Beach County Children and Families

Achievement Centers for Children & Families celebrated the success of its 7th Annual Swing to Achieve Golf Tournament, presented by Delaire Country Club Car Club, held Friday, June 5, 2026. The tournament raised nearly $40,000 to support the organization’s Early Learning, After School, Teen, and Summer Camp programs serving children and families across Palm Beach County.

Five teenagers from Achievement Centers’ Teen Program arrived early to help set up the event and welcome guests throughout the day — a fitting reminder of exactly who the tournament exists to serve.

Winners were announced at the closing lunch, held upstairs on the patio overlooking the ocean. Before the announcements, Shawn Promaphil, a current Achievement Centers student, opened the luncheon with a few words about what the program has meant to him, offering guests a firsthand look at the impact of their support.

“Every dollar raised goes directly toward giving children in our community access to the programs and opportunities they deserve”, said Gina Griffin, Director of Development. “Days like today remind us of what’s possible when this community comes together.”
